I was in Davie by chance I googled pizzas and John the Baker popped up. I am all about reviews and I saw they had a 4.5. We decided to try it and I am so happy we did. Not only did we get an amazing waitress but the food was phenomenal. Thank you Adriana for being so kind and making us feel so welcome. Everyone was very nice here. We had pizza and garlic rolls, the pizza was crispy and garlic rolls very moist and delicious. We will definitely be back.
We ordered lasagna, pasta with shrimp, veal parmigiana, and 4-cheese ravioli. Everything was amazing especially the garlic rolls!
Delicious food and great service. Really reasonable prices.
⭐ Overall: 7.5/10 — Solid Italian spot with great pizza, friendly service, and just a few small tweaks needed! I tried a variety of dishes here and overall had a great experience: Pasta Fagioli (6/10) – Good flavor but not soupy enough for my taste. Still enjoyable. Garlic Bread (8/10) – Super soft and fresh, but could use more garlic and Parmesan to really pop. Baked Ball of Cheese (3/10) – Unfortunately, this one missed the mark. The breading was bland, and the cheese itself was way too salty. Meatball Sliders (7/10) – Tasty meatballs with nice flavor, but the bread was the same as the garlic bread (without the garlic). Very soft but too thick, and since you have to build them yourself, they didn’t really feel like sliders. Meat Lovers Pizza (9/10) – The star of the meal! Crispy, cheesy, meaty, and evenly topped — every bite had flavor. Limoncello Cake (7.5/10) – Light, sweet, and a nice way to end the meal. Service: The servers were awesome — super friendly, attentive, and helpful with menu explanations. Big shoutout to Manny, who made the experience even better with his great attitude and knowledge of the dishes! Definitely worth checking out — especially for the pizza. With a few small adjustments, this place could easily jump to a solid 9/10 across the board.
Found this place on Tiktok and was dying to check out, it DID NOT disappoint. The minute you walk in it feels like home, super nice staff. We got seated in about 3 minutes and the overall service was quick. The owner, John came to our table to check in and see how we're doing and if we had any questions. That was a nice touch that you don't see often. We ordered Garlic rolls, Large cheese/half pepperoni, and the Mozzarella balls. Everything we ordered was honestly amazing and had so much flavor. It tasted so fresh and was nice and hot. Will definitely be going back!
Always the best service. Food is excellent Best garlic rolls in town and the best pie. Order the Baked Ziti rich ricotta and John's homeade family Tiramisu. We also tried ther brand new garlic parm wings which were meaty with some great taste
